Story, Personality, Others:
Kendy was surrendered by her owner to the shelter. For whatever reason, the woman got a puppy and the puppy grew up and the woman decided she had no time for her. The woman had a teenage daughter. This girl was sometimes coming to the shelter to visit Kendy. Kendy was always so happy for those visits, she adored the girl. Then the girl became older, she got a job and she moved to her own apartment. And she came to get Kendy back. For us it was like a ray of hope, we believed younger generation is different and this girl would compensate with her love to Kendy all those wasted years in the shelter when being abandoned by the girl´s mother. But the girl was indeed her mother´s daughter. She only had Kendy for a year. Then she got a job abroad, she brought Kendy back to the shelter and emigrated. So much for the ray of hope for the younger generation.
Kendy was so sad. She still is. She seems to be always waiting for the girl to come back for her. She waits for the visits that will never happen anymore. Poor dog. She deserves better.
Kendy is a very gentle and sweet dog. She is calm, balanced, she does not bark, she spends most of her day sleeping. She gets along with all other dogs.
She walks well on the leash and she is used to living in a home.
