Samy was surrendered to the shelter when his owner when to an assisted living facility and noone from the family wanted the dog. For the poor dog coming to the shelter was a shock. He is scared, worried and very sad – his life was shattered to pieces. He hardly eats. But when we give him one to one attention he is pleased and we get an occasional tail wag. Unfortunately there is not much time for individual attention with so many dogs and few volunteers. Samy would blossom in a home.
He is very gentle, even when stressed he has never growled or snap. He is social with other dogs. He walks well on the leash.
