Amia was found on the street together with her siblings, all 7 of them were on the street. They were all very scared and at the beginning when they were brought to the shelter we could not touch any of them. Amia was actually one of the most scared ones.
With time, patience, human presence and treats they started to open up. Surprisingly, Amia was one of those that made the biggest progress. She is very food oriented so it helps, for treats she is ready to overcome her fears.
Now she is still very insecure with strangers but with people she knows she is a friendly, social and cuddly dog. She is trusting and very gentle. She walks on the leash.
