Patsy was kept as a guard dog since she was a puppy by a company selling bottled gas. They had her and her sister in their storage facility. Why people get dogs and not alarms and cameras instead? In any case Patsy did not serve as a guard dog, she is too gentle and quite insecure. She loves people and she is very submissive. Not a guard dog at all. But this is the life she had… since a puppy. Never had a home, was never loved, never cared for. She was just vaccinated once, when she was a puppy and never again. Now the company ceased the activity, they closed down the place, so they don´t need dogs anymore. As noone has cared about the dogs until now, now they care even less – the dogs were surrendered to the shelter.
Maybe it is an opportunity for Patsy as she deserves better. She is a very gentle and friendly dog. She is quite insecure in new situations but she adapts given time. She just needs guidance and support – she trusts people and she relies on her sister so it would be good if her future home already had a dog. She is friendly and submissive with other dogs.
