Topper and his brother were left on the street by their owners who went back to their country. When they lived in Portugal they had two cats but when they moved back home they just left the cats on the street to their devices. The cats never lived on the street, they would not have survived. The neigbours picked them up from the street and brought them to the shelter. They were very skinny when brought to the shelter.
Topper is a very gentle cat. He is very human oriented, he loves attention and cuddles. He does not mind being lifted, he seems used to being on the lap. He is very gentle, even the first days in the shelter when he was quite scared he never hissed or used nails. He seems ok with other cats and he is not at all bothered by dogs.
