Nina was surrendered to the shelter by her owners for whatever reason. Coming to the shelter was a shock for her and for the first few weeks she was hiding in a corner and running away from people and snapping if someone wanted to touch her. She is now slowly gaining confidence and the people she is used to can now touch her and even lift her. We can only hope that in a home she would be more confident but even outside of the shelter, when we take her for a walk, she is very scared of everything. Nina needs a special home, calm environment and lots of patience and understanding.
She gets along with other dogs.
