Impa was removed by municipal services from a place where she was kept by a man because she was very neglected. She was rescued from there with her mother and sister Alissa. All of them were neglected.
They were taken to a municipal pound where they were sterilised. Some pounds try to sterilise the dogs but the skills are not there and post-operatory care is not given. The mother died after the sterilisation of infection. Something that could have been easily avoided. Something that noone will face the responsibility for because she was just a dog and the municipal pounds do what they want without any control. Until recently they euthanised dogs for being there for too long, now they don´t do it anymore but the dogs lives still are worth nothing.
Impa and her sisters survived the surgery and were sent to a shelter. They are still looking for their mother. Every day they run around the shelter, it is obvious they are searching.
Impa is the sweetest girl you can imagine. She is gentle, friendly, cuddly. Just a big puppy that looks for support in humans that already did so much evil to her and her family. She still trusts.
She is friendly with other dogs. Very gentle, very social with all dogs.
She walks well on the leash.
