A woman found a puppy on the street. Happens all the time. She took the puppy home and pretended to be her family. She had the puppy for a few months, the puppy has grown, probably destroyed a few things at home, so the woman (and a man) surrendered the then grown-up puppy to the shelter.
This is Karen´s story. When her owner brought her, she absolved herself. “She is not my dog, I found her on the street.” The months spent with the dog did not mean anything, she was not her dog. It would be understandable if she had the dog at home for 6 days… not 6 months!
Karen is still a puppy and she behaves like a puppy. She wants to run, play and maybe she can destroy something. The woman and the man wanted a staffed toy. Karen deserves better. She is sweet, friendly, gentle and she loves people. She is friendly and playful with other dogs. She walks well on the leash. She is used to living in a home.
