Story, Personality, Others:
Meredith was found on the street in June 2018 as a tiny puppy and adopted from the shelter a month after. Nearly 5 years later she was brought back because apparently she does not get along with the other dog.
You know this kind of people that have a big dog that is only good, according to them, to stay in the yard and bark and a small dog that is the one they really like, that is in the house with them and sleeps in bed with them? There are many of them. They put the dogs in situations when they antagonise them, when dogs feel they need to compete for their owners attention. Dogs are not stupid, if they are treated differently, they see that too.
So the dogs did not like each other. And they had a few fights – we were told. So the big one was sent to the shelter because it was the small one they really liked. The big one, Meredith, was not even vaccinated once since they took her from the shelter.
Since she was brought to us, Meredith, we can only see a sweet and gentle dog. She has not picked up a conflict with a single dog. She is social, friendly and even submissive. She is very sweet with people. Gentle, cuddly and faithful – if you give her a bit of attention she will follow you the whole day.
She walks well on the leash.
