Story, Personality, Others:

Winnie was brought to the shelter with broken leg. The person that brought him told that his owner was beating the dog regularly and it was him that broke his leg and then left him for many days without any attention. When we got him we had him operated immediately and fortunately he recovered and can use the leg normally.

Winnie has been neglected all his life, he was just kept on the chain in the yard. He was unwanted and uncared and when someone suggested the owner to surrender the dog to the shelter he was only happy to do so.

Winnie, after lifetime of abuse, still loves people. He is social, cuddly and friendly. He also gets along with other dogs.

Winnie has a heart murmur and he gets medication for it. He is also positive to leishmaniose and gets Alopurinol.

He walks well on the leash. He is a sweet dog that deserves better. It would be wonderful if he could still live in a home and be loved.
