Aurora was brought to the shelter from a municipal pound. She was sent with another dog, both very skinny. Why don´t they feed them in the pounds? I tell you why. Before they were allowed to euthanise the dogs. And they were happily doing it. They were killing dogs just after 1 week. Now they are not allowed to. But they would like to. So they starve the dogs. And don´t treat them if they are sick. To see if they die by themselves. This is why Aurora came to us skin and bones.
Aurora is very sweet. She is extremely gentle, cuddly, calm. She is a bit shy at the first encounter as she must have encountered mistreatment in the place she was brought from but she is gaining confidence quickly, she understood she is now surrendered by caring people.
Aurora is social with other dogs. She likes canine company.
She walks well on the leash.
