Luna was found on the street and her owner kept her for a year or so but upon discovering she is leishmaniose positive decided to surrender her to the shelter.
This is very sad for Luna as a dog with leishmaniose can live as long as any other dog and have a quality of life.
What we know is that Luna lived with another dog and cat and she is used to living in a home. She is very sweet and gentle, cuddly and friendly. She is not shy at all, very outgoing, good natured and quickly adapts into a new environment. Luna needs a chance to give someone the love she has plenty of.
