Vasco was found on the street. The people that found him placed him in some temporary place and tried to rehome him but of course it did not work – noone in Portugal adopts a big, male, adult and black dog. These are the dogs that stay behind in the shelter and live their whole lives there.
So now we welcomed Vasco in the shelter. Probably we will also not be lucky to find him a home. It does not matter that he is very friendly and gentle – and he really is. That he gets along with all dogs – he does. He is a big black adult dog, people don´t offer homes to them.
