Nokyo was adopted from us when he was 7 weeks old. Since he left the shelter we tried to get news but emails were unanswered and calls were not picked up. Until the day when the adoptant informed that Nokyo killed a sheep and wished to return him. In any case, according to her, it was our fault because we gave her the dog who was not a match with her family. The puppy was 7 weeks old! If the owners were not able to educate it is their fault. But it is easier to blame us then to admit failure, right?
Nokyo was brought back to us and we discovered a gentle and social dog. He is lovely with people, obedient, cuddly and gentle.
At first we were careful introducing him to other dogs knowing that he has been isolated from canine contact since a puppy, but we did – first to females then to males. We discovered a social dog who loves to play with other dogs, all sizes, both genders, all aged, and has absolutely no aggression in him.
Nokyo walks well on the leash. He seems quite unproblematic. We suspect he cannot be trusted with farm animals (if any of what we were told was truel) so he cannot go to a farm. But not all dogs get along with farm animals, many don´t actually, it is their natural instinct…. Apart from this he is such an easy dog.
Fingers crossed for Nokyo finding a better home this time.
