Story, Personality, Others:
Mona was found at the gate of the shelter tied with a string to the fence. She was tied in the evening or at night and found only in the morning. Just think what a night she must have had, how much she must have been scared. Especially if she always slept at home in a safe place… poor puppy.
Mona is shy at the first contact but we think it is just the shelter environment that is overwhelming. We can already see her decompress. She wants to trust. When she sees us, she wags her tail and seems happy but she always keeps a safe distance and when we approach she runs away.
No doubt that in a home she would blossom, given individual attention.
She is very sweet, very gentle and she is social with other dogs. She is very playful, she is a great doggy companion for others.
