Zuma was surrendered to the shelter with another dog by her owners who say their daughter is allergic. Very common excuse among people that surrender dogs to the shelter, especially those that just have had a baby. Dogs and babies too much work? Easier to get rid of some?
Zuma is very friendly and very gentle. She loves people and she is equally friendly with other dogs. She is used to living in a home and used to children. She walks well on the leash. She is not shy or worried of anything, just self confident and curious about everything. A great family companion. She deserves better!
