Queeny was found on the street. She was very skinny, neglected, just heart-breaking. She was taken to safety and sterilised and she also had many mammary tumors that were removed. Then she was brought to the shelter. She resulted to be very sweet and gentle. Very calm dog that just likes to lie down somewhere in the sun and chill. She is sweet and gentle and she likes to be cuddled. She is social with other dogs. An old dog that just wants a comfortable bed to sleep and food twice a day.
A dog like this would be perfect in a home. But hardly anyone adopts old dogs. People want puppies (to educate them they say) and they bring them back after a few months because they chew, bark, play and do what puppies do.
Poor Queeny – she will spend the rest of her days in the shelter.
