Story, Personality, Others:

Gabru is a one unlucky puppy. He was adopted from us when he was a baby, only 2 months old. He and his siblings came from the local village, a local woman did not have her dogs sterilised and surrendered to the shelter the puppies that were born.

Gabru did not stay long then, he was such a cute puppy that got quickly adopted. Unfortunately when he grew it appeared that he had a problem with his back legs, both heads of the femur were out of place and he had to be operated. First one head of the femur was removed and then the second one. The recovery was slow and his owner decided to return the dog to the shelter saying that otherwise she would euthanise him.

Poor Gabru. In fact he just needed time to recover. When he came he walked with certain difficulty, freshly after the surgery. But a few weeks later he is like a new dog! He runs, he plays with other dogs. We hope it is a new beginning for him.

Gabru is very sweet, gentle, lovely with people and very playful. He loves company of other dogs and he could just run and play with them at any time. He walks well on the leash and he is used to living in a home (he lived in an apartament in the city).
