Story, Personality, Others:
Bonzao was brought to us from a municipal pound. How he ended up there? There was a hoarder who had lots of cats at home, quite neglected because there were too many she could reasonably treat well so they were removed by the municipality and placed in a municipal pound. A court case was initiated against the hoarder for neglect and this court case lasted over a year during which time the pound was not allowed to rehome the cats. So during a year those cats stayed in a small roam, over 30 of them, with not much food, as they are all very skinny and it just raises a question if it was all worth it. A year! If in those cases an animal welfare was taken in consideration they should have been allowed to be rehomed. But animal welfare is never in consideration.
Finally the case is closed and only now the cats can be rehomed. We brought a few to help to find them nice homes.
Bonzao is extremely gentle. The hoarder maybe did not have hygenic conditions but she treated her cats well as they are all gentle. Bonzao is amazing. He gives paws as he wants to get attention. He climbs on us like a squirrel on a tree, just to give a hug. He is just lovely with people. He is also social with other cats as he lived with many and he is quite tolerant with dogs.
