Teso was found on the street. He had a chip so the data was read and the owner was contacted. The owner did not explain how the dog ended up on the street but said he did not want him anymore which only made us happy…. because Teso´s neck was one big wound. He was obviously kept on the chain and the collar was very tight around his neck for a long time. It took many weeks for this wound to heal. It is finally well but there will always be a mark.
Teso was very scared when he was brought to us but also very gentle. His long fur was all tangled and he needed to be shaved, he was very calm and let us do it. Then with time he started to gain confidence and now he is not scared anymore. On the contrary, when we come to his kennel his welcomes us with a strong wag of his little tail and happy jumps.
Teso is very gentle, friendly with people, social with other dogs and he walks well on the leash. After all this suffering he deserved a lovely home with lots of love.
