Story, Personality, Others:

Kalinka was brought to us in November 2021 from a municipal pound, in a litter of puppies. We knew the mother was a German shorthair pointer. All puppies got adopted. A family adopted Kalinka and her brother. They wanted cute puppies but they did not think the cute puppies don´t stay puppies. Four months later when the puppies become teenagers they returned them. Because the neighbours were complaining. The puppies were barking and jumping the fence.

If you get yourself a pointer puppy, the solution is not to keep the puppy in a yard the whole day without any interaction. Pointers are active dogs and need to be given proper exercise. Especially when they are young.

People get puppies without thinking if they have life for them, then they realise they don´t and then dump the dogs in the shelter. The only victims of human stupidity and egoism are the dogs.

Kalinka is a very nice dog. She is super friendly, gentle, cuddly and always happy. She is used to people. The family had children. She is very friendly with other dogs. She walks on the leash.
