Story, Personality, Others:
Minou was brought to the shelter in March 2021. For 11 months she was hiding in the darkest places in the cattery and we would never see her. Only recently she started to come out and she is less scared of people than she used to be. She still likes to be in the places where she feels protected, houses, cubes, but at least now we can see her and even touch her. She is still reluctant about the touch, she backs a bit, but she has never shown any aggressive behaviour. Never tried to scratched or hissed at us.
Minou will still need to gain confidence. In a home this process would be easier with a constant human presence. In the shelter the cats are in the cattery by themselves for most of the day, only at the cleaning time one person comes and sometimes there are visits of potential adoptants.
Minou is social with other cats and uses a sandbox.
