Story, Personality, Others:

Carmen was surrendered by her owner who has been neglecting her for a long time, other people were taking care of the dog, otherwise she would have died of hunger in his yard. They convinced him to surrender her and we wonder why he had a dog at all.

Carmen came to us very dirty, her fur has not been brushed for years, she has never been vaccinated and she will have to be sterilised as well. But she is a happy dog that loves people regardless. She is very social, she loves human company and she is amazing with other dogs – from the first day in the shelter she was like at home even in the biggest crowd of dogs. And they all seem to like this old girl, she has a really charming personality.

She is nice with cats. Very cool, very friendly. She just lies down, the cats walk around here and she does not mind.

So, while people even queue to adopt puppies, will someone consider an old girl? Or will she be yet another one that will live for years in the shelter, forgotten, until she dies?
