Story, Personality, Others:
Igor was dumped in the shelter by his owner and it is probably the best that could happen to him as his owner kept him on the chain. Apparently the first few months, when he was a puppy, he was welcome at home and he even got vaccinated once, but as soon as he grew up, he was relegated to the chain in the garden and he never saw any vet again.
Imagine how confused the dog must have been, as a puppy cuddled and allowed to enter home and follow his owner everyone and one day he finds himself on the chain and only sees his owner once a day when he brings a bowl of cheap kibble.
Why do those people have dogs at all? Evidently the ex-owner asked himself this question and he surrendered the dog to the shelter, shame it took him 6 years to reach this conclusion.
Poor sweet Igor really deserves better. He is a gentle and sweet dog, friendly, cuddly and human oriented. He is friendly with all other dogs, big and small, males and females. He walks well on the leash.
There has to be a nice future for Igor… he deserves
