Story, Personality, Others:
Maya had a home since a puppy but her owners moved to France for work and left her (and her companion Lulu behind). The dogs stayed in a yard of the house they lived and someone was coming irregularly to give them food. A year passed like this. For a year poor dogs had only sporadical human contact, no walks, irregular cleaning and irregular feeding. After a year the owners surrendered both dogs to the shelter. Poor dogs. They were loved as puppies but when the owners plans for life changed they were not included. Discardable. Not important enough.
Maya is a lovely dog. She is very gentle, friendly and cuddly. She loves human company. She is trustful and attachable. She is social with other dogs. She is friendly with cats. She walks well on the leash and she is used to living in a home. She deserves better…. not just to be discarded in the shelter at an old age.
