Story, Personality, Others:

Cutie was found on the street. She was living on the street for long time, someone was feeding her, but she kept distance from people, noone could catch her. Finally an effort was made to catch her so she would not have puppies on the street. She was sterilised and brought to the shelter.

She came to the shelter in May 2021. Since then she has made absolutely no progress in terms of her relation with people. Noone can catch her. She runs away from everyone. If for some reason we need to catch her, we can corner her and do it. In our hands she is very unhappy but also very gentle, she has never had any aggressive reaction. She is just scared but always submissive and gentle.

Cutie loves other dogs. She plays all the time. She loves to run and chase. So maybe the shelter is not the worst place for her. She is fed and is safe. She has limited contact with people and she has plenty of dpgs around which she loves.

But dog don´t live of air and water. They need to eat, be vaccinated, get products against fleas and ticks, be treated when they are sick. Not being able to rehome the dog means that the shelter stays burdened with those costs for the lifetime of a dog. And dogs like Cutie are many. Too scared to function in a home environment. This is why sponsoring is so important. With a monthly donation of your choice you can help the shelter to maintain such dog.
