Story, Personality, Others:
Goa was surrendered to a municipal pound by her owner for whatever reason and then brought to us. She is a very sweet dog, very gentle, social with other dogs – whenever she meets a news dog she just wags her tail a lot. With people she is just lovely when she knows them but a bit shy at the first encounter. She is used to living in a home and she walks well on the leash. At home she is calm, she does not cry when staying alone (at least this was checked with another dog), she is house clean, she walks up the stairs without a problem and she jumps to the car as soon as you open the door and is a good passenger). She knows to sit on command. She rarely barks. She is such a good natured dog…..
Goa has “dry eye syndrome” which means that her glands do not produce enough liquid to moisture the eye. This is why she needs eye drops with Ciclosporine twice a day. But if she gets the drops then she is perfect.
