Joaozinho was brought to us from a municipal pound and before he was found on the street. He is a very gentle dog but also very scared. He does not walk on the leash and he freezes when we touch him or put him on the lap. But he is very gentle and even when stressed he never tried to bite. Since he came to us, in July 2021, he has made some progress. He is curious about people and he wags his tail when someone enters the kennel although he does not approach by himself. In a home environment it would be different, he would gain confidence much quicker although naturally time and patience would be required.
He is very friendly with other dogs.
