Story, Personality, Others:
Nutty was brought to us in November 2019. She came from a hoarder, a woman that had over 100 dogs and cats that were removed by the police from the place they were kept in, all very neglected. The dogs were distributed among different private shelters, we got 23 dogs and we managed to rehome all of them except Nutty and another one (Luna). The reason is that Nutty is extremely scared of people. When we enter her kennel she runs away, hides, barks. It has been like this for a 1,5 year and she has not improved. Not even with people she sees every day. We can imagine that in a home with a continuous human presence she would develop trust but it would take time and require extreme patience.

She is good with other dogs. If she was ever adopted, she would need a social dog to give her example.
