Story, Personality, Others:
Daisy was brought to us from a municipal pound in May 2021. She was very scared. She was running away from us and we could not touch her but she never snapped. So you and so scared…
Now, after 2 years, she comes to lick our hands and we can pet her and she enjoys. She is vary of strangers but people that know her can pet her and touch her without any problems. We can even put a leash on her but she still is not comfortable walking on the leash.
She is a beautiful and gentle dog and she deserved a happy life but in a shelter with many dogs and few volunteers only “that much” progress can be made. If she was at home and had constant human attention it would be different. But people prefer to adopt easy dogs. Not dogs that would still require an effort … sadly this is how it is.
Daisy is very friendly with other dogs though.
