Story, Personality, Others:
Jill was surrendered to the shelter by her owner who said she was renting a house and the house owner said dogs were not allowed and her husband was unemployed so she did not consider looking for another accommodation. She did not have Jill since a puppy though, just a few months as she also found her on the street.
Nill is very sweet. Although nervous with new people and in new situations. She needs time to adapt and calm environment to live in. But she is young. She can still develop nicely with people that will be patient with her. She obviously does not have a good past, she was not treated with kindness by people, maybe on the street, maybe in her home. She needs time to get over this.
She is good with other dogs. Friendly and playful. Only that she defends her food towards other dogs. Not towards people. Maybe she was hungry on the street ……. But she does not steal other´s food, she just wants them to leave her alone when she is eating. Easy to solve, dogs should be fed separately and food not left laying around. But apart from this she is social with other dogs.
She walks well on the leash. She is used to living in a home.
