Sweet Bandida came to us from a municipal pound. She is very sweet and gentle but when she does not know people, she is quite shy. She needs to gain confidence. Once she has gained, she is a wonderful dog.
She likes company of other dogs. We were told that in the pound she seemed friendly with cats.
She walks on the leash. In the shelter she does not get any exercise and has unlimited access to food, she is overweight. Not easy to manage the food intake of each dog in a shelter of 650 dogs. But in a home it would be manageable.
