Pincel’s owner died and his dogs ended up in a municipal pound and then they were brought to us. A very common story, happens all the time.
Pincel lived all his life with another dog, Rita and with a man, their owner. The conditions were extremely modest. For the owner and for the dogs. The owner said he liked his dogs but he kept them on the chain. He probably thought this is the place of the dog, to be on the chain.
Pincel has a mark of a tight collar on his fur. We took off the collar. Now the fur can grow smooth and Pincel can finally enjoy his freedom.
He is extremely gentle. Just a great dog. Sweet, friendly, always wagging his tail. Such a shame he did not come to us earlier. At the age he is now no-one wants to adopt a dog. But you would never give him his age!
And he now deserves a lovely home…. Will he spend the rest of his days in the shelter?
He is good with other dogs and walks well on the leash.
