Russ was surrender by his owner together with another dog. We know he was not well treated. He was just kept on the chain in the yard. Such a lovely and gentle dog… He deserves much better.
He never experienced any human kindness so at the beginning in the shelter he was very scared of us. Now he is slowly gaining confidence and he trusts us more. We can touch him and fleetingly cuddle him although there is still a long way for him… What is important is that he is extremely gentle. He never snapped, never showed any aggression. And he is good with all other dogs.
In a right home he would blossom.
