Story, Personality, Others:
Sam always had a home. He lived with his owners for 9 years. One day he got into a fight with another dog. Sam’s owners had a visitor at home and they put together two big uncastrated dogs and thought things would go fine. The dogs got into a fight. The owner tried to separated them and Sam bit her. He did not want to bite her as during his 9 years at home he never showed any aggression against his owners. He wanted to bite the other dog and her hand was there. The owner did not want him any more and surrendered him to the shelter.
That was in July 2020. Since then Sam has been in the shelter. We never noticed any aggression in him. Not even a glimpse. He is extremely gentle with people, he is obedient, calm and he enjoys cuddling. He is good with other dogs, males and females. He shares a kennel with another male and they have never had any conflicts. He is often loose in the main area with many other dogs, males and females and there was never ever any problem from his side.
He even does not pay attention to cats.
He walks very well on the leash, he does not pull at all.
He is a great dog that deserves a lovely home, his surrender to the shelter was just a big misunderstanding and poor dog did not deserve it.
