Bertie was surrendered to the shelter by his owner who cannot take care of him anymore. She surrendered all her dogs, 13 of them.
Bertie is sweet and friendly, he loves people and he is social with other dogs.
He walks well on the leash. He is not young but full of life and you would never give him his age. He is in good health.
Unfortunately he is positive to leishmaniose. It is controllable and the medication is inexpensive but this drastically reduces his chances for adoption.
