Gender: M

Story:
Oscar was brought by his owner to the shelter. The person was so loaded with antipsychotic medication that we were surprised she was able to drive.
She said she cannot take care of her cat. It was obvious anyway.
So she left the cat.
Oscar hated us from the moment he saw us. When anyone would enter the cattery he would go charging against as if he wanted to attack. He never did though. He kept safe distance, but he always hissed and screamed. A few months have passed. Since then he has become calmer. He does not attack. But he still hisses at people when he sees someone and no one managed to touch him yet. He seems quite comfortable in the cattery, he never hides, he is ok with other cats but he just does not like people.
From what his owner said he was never an easy cat, to take him to the vet she had to sedate him. But she could touch him. We cannot. If we tried that he would defend himself.
We probably have a resident cat like this…. One that will never go anywhere. At least he gets along with other cats….
