Penelope is a long-haired Podengo Pequeno. We were very good friends of another known as Vlekkie, in the Cape Verde Islands. I can confirm that they are very affectionate and loving dogs that will never disappoint, so long as you can manage the hunting instnct. (never off the lead when there are squirrel around)
Sadly Vlekkie was poisoned by strycchnine. We know have a Podengo Medio called Maria, who lives with us in London. If you do find a home ion GB, be aware that there is a Dog Bus service from Spain and Portugal to any address in the GB mainland.
