Name: Kiwi

Gender: F

Breed: x castro laboreiro

Age: d-o-b: ~2015

Size: big (34kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Kiwi and her companion, Keisy, had a home but their owner got sick and the husband did not want to keep the dogs. They were surrendered to the shelter.
They were not neutered or vaccinated and they did not get much care but at least in their life they were treated with kindness. They are sweet and gentle dogs.
Coming to the shelter was quiet a shock for them. Coming from a calm home they ended up in a noisy and busy place. Especially Kiwi, who seems the more sensitive one, is quite insecure. She is quite shy with us and she does not come to us by herself but when we approach her she is gentle and accepts cuddling. We are certain it is only a question of time. Still, she would be much better in a home than in the shelter. There she would regain confidence quickly.

Kiwi is good with other dogs, she is very gentle with people. She is not used to living in the house and she does not walk on the leash. She can learn though.
