Story:
Carol was found on the street. She had a chip. We read it and called the owner. It was another shelter. She jumps the fence. They don’t have a good fence (she does not jump our fence). They were happy she was found and immediately took the opportunity to leave her with us. Still, we needed to do some formalities… Sign the chip papers. It took them 10 days. Moreover, they said she was vaccinated. But could not find her book of vaccinations. At this stage we were not even surprised. We had her vaccinated after waiting 10 days and hearing every time a different story. They never asked about her. She has been with us from April 2019.
Carol is a lovely dog. She is sweet, affectionate, good with other dogs, good on the leash. She just loves people.
She has eye problem, her eyes are small as if the eyelids were growing over them. She is completely blind on one eye and on the other she can see some. It is not curable. We had her operated once but it did not help.
But even a blind dog can lead a quality life and Carol deserves a lovely home. She is very affectionate and extremely gentle.
