A woman had a dog for 7 years but recently she decided that the dog was not happy (or maybe she was not happy?). She says she works long hours and the dog stays alone the whole day. She did not consider an option of paying a dog walker, dumping him in the shelter was easier! She obviously did not like him enough to improve his quality of life. Especially that not too much would be needed… probably one more walk in the middle of the day. A dog of this age does not need so much exercise. But she found a good excuse and she got rid of him.
Fox is a very decided little guy and if he does not like something, he growls. His ex-owner says he has always been doing that but he has never bitten anyone. He just does not like to be contradicted…. On the other hand he is no problem with other dogs, good on the leash and calm temperament.
