Despite Vincent (Vinceti) having eye problems we fell in love with him as soon as we met him, our new dog Obe (also from Dogs of Portugal 2 months ago) got on really well with him and we feel the two dogs and ourselves will all get along fine and the 3 of us will all be able to help Vinceti with his disability. Looking forward to introducing him to our home in a few weeks time.
Vincent now (Vinci) is settling in well and is beging to understand English. He is very friendly once he gets to know you but has a stubborn streak when he does not want to do what you want him to. He is getting on well with Obe our other dog who bosses him a bit and loves travelling in the car (he chewed our rear seat belts through yesterday so not in good books) everything is very new to him, he attacked the lawn mower and barks at anyone passing in the road. He is a little darling and loves being fussed and looks a little bit like a lamb, he is eating well, loves chicken, coissants, yogurt and ice cream. His sight as yet is not an issue he has walked into the glass door and is a bit unsure on coming down the stairs but otherwise he is doing really well.
Vincent has really started to interact with us now., his eyesight is still pretty good but he does tend to follow Obe a lot more now (he won’t go into the swimming pool after Obe though ) he hates water. He’s very food orientated and loves wondering around the garden looking for mice and lizards, he did catch a snake a few weeks ago in the cabbage patch. He is not keen on travel in the car and hides once his lead comes out but a biscuit persuades him to get in.
