Rita was abandoned at the shelter by her owner, who did not want her anymore. Typical. It was in 2010 and she has been with us since.
She has a chronical eye inflammation. She has Lupus, it is not curable. It is an auto-immune disease which attacks healthy tissues. In her vase it is eyes and nose. Always red and inflammated. The eyes react like this to the sandy environment in the shelter. Probably in another environment she would be better….
She is very very nice with people and social with other dogs. She is simply lovely.
